Deep into studies for my MSc it's been difficult to spend much time performing but I had a great time with the guys down at the Regal Rooms (64 Fulham Palace Road, London, W6 9PH; Tel: 0208 748 2834) back in January. It was a great gig and some amazing talent down there, so don't just wait for me, get down there and support live music. They did a live webcast of the gig and the recording is still available here.
NEW CHARITY SINGLE - WATCH THIS SPACE ...
With the help of friends, and some great introductions, it looks like I'm going to be recording an adaptation of my song 'Rescued' that I rewrote and played at Charlie's memorial service. I'm hoping to promote it as a charity song to help raise more funds for the RNLI. I'm still working on changes but I recorded this version in my room if you can't wait to hear it.
CHARLIE HUTTON - 20.09.97 - 20.07.12
As many of you may know, in July 2012 I lost my younger brother Charlie Hutton, aged 14, in a tragic boating accident. The RNLI were absolutely amazing in their efforts and as a family we wanted to show our appreciation. My older brother Tom and I are therefore taking part in multiple events leading up to the Virgin London Marathon in April 2013 in order to raise money for the RNLI, a fantastic charity devoted to saving the lives of people at sea.
We hope to continue to raise money as a legacy for Charlie, taking part in a variety of different events including the Charlie Hutton Hockey Festival, which we hope to organise again this year in September. We will be sure to keep everyone updated throughout our fundraising journey.
As an extra incentive to donate, up until the Marathon I have made my first album a free download here on my website. You can listen to the album and download it for free, but a donation on our giving page would be great. Donate as little or AS MUCH as you like in aid of a fantastic charity, the RNLI.
